Every young person in this day in age is seen as a "Technology Native", we expected to know everything about computers and if we don't know it then we are expected to be able to figure it out within a matter of minutes. This is not always the case, nor should it be expected to be the case. We don't need to center our lives around technology and new advances in computer programming. Technology is very helpful and amazing, but it should not take over our school and make it into a ironed and wired environment. Our college is meant to be enjoyed from behind a screen, the air is meant to be inhaled and the trees are expected to live freely without a wire running through them. I believe that the amount of technology that we incorporate now is a sufficient amount of our lovely school and that it should not be altered because of expectation, but if it must be altered at all let it be out of necessity.
